This ongoing project is a Narrative/ Survival/ Walking simulation game based on a real but little-known historical event in the West.
The Hakkōda Mountains incident, a military tragedy that occurred in Japan in 1902.
Through gameplay combining survival and walking simulation, the goal is to make the player experience the extreme conditions and isolation endured by the Japanese soldiers with an anti-militarist speech with the scenario.
The game is fully made by myself, the game design, level design, Blueprint programming, 3D modeling, UI, etc... I'm applying all the skills I’ve learned so far, with detailed sketch to create a game that I would like to play and that suits me
This project marks a major step on my journey, because it truly reflects what I want to bring to the video game industry, narrative games with unique mechanics, designed to convey powerful emotions and highlight forgotten historical events.
